At the Ravalli County Fair “Plein Air at the Fair” is a special event, hosted by the Ravalli County Fairgrounds Foundation & the Ravalli County Fair, that gives artists a chance to share their talents as they capture the magic of the fair on canvas. It is an opportunity for artists to create artwork that is inspired by and created solely, at the fair. Registered artists find what inspires them, and you will see them as they create on opening day of fair. Artwork is judged and displayed during fair and all entries are for sale; proceeds from the sales benefit the artists and the Ravalli County Fairgrounds Foundation, Inc. (RCFF) a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization, whose mission is solely to preserve, enhance, improve and maintain the Ravalli County Fairgrounds.
